My life has been really colorful, delicious & positive!

With workload piling up, we really need to de-stress.
Tonight's the night to let our hair down.

Last week's ZOUK FLEA was A W E S O M E !
I spent over S$100 on i-don't-know-what.

But the experience was reaaaally awesome.
Thanks for being such a gr8 company, QY :)

My roomie?
She's one helluva cool chick who's eccentric & fun.

Will be posting pictures up really, really, really soon.

OH OH.
If you're still not in the know, my GESL group came in 4th outta 179 groups in Project Runway.
Brilliant job yeah!

Till then,

E M B R A C E T H E W E E E K E N D :)

There is so much I need to update!
Although practicum has ended but, school life is commencing in like a week's time.
Hence, I'm actually busying myself with school administrative work rather than relaxing & rejoicing that practicum is over.

So let's see...
1) I've gotten a place in NTU's hostel. Heh.
2) I've got 8 modules - 2 of which are practical.
3) Outta my 8 modules, only 2 are Chinese based. So ironic, since we're from Dip. Ed. Chi. Lang.
4) I've joined Dance Fuzion.
5) Upcoming Project Runway on National Day, 8th Aug 2008. Rehearsal's on the 6th.

Okay, that's all for now.
I'm planning to join some Hall bonding activities like camping!
& If I can handle Dance Fuzion, I might asked Qi Yong to get me into NTU's renowned dance society.

Hectic life ahead.
I miss my kids!

I can't wait for practicum to end.

But seriously, I'm gonna miss my 2 classes of naughty brats.
Albeit naughty but, they were the ones who made my day, every single day.
If there's one thing which made me determined to stay in this teaching line, it'll be them.

They made me love teaching.
They made me feel that teaching is an enjoyable career.
They made me feel satisfied every time I walk out of the classroom.
& I hope I made their day just as they had made mine. :)

I am so going to have a short getaway when I'm done with my practicum.
Off to Singapore or Malaysia?
Malacca, KL, Redang?
Perhaps Thailand or Australia would be good as well.

Today's the LAST DAY OF THIS WEEK.
I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to this weekend.

I'm gonna stop blogging publicly for some time now.
It's for our own good...

We need to get our lives back on track, back in shape.

Hope practicum ends fast!

Took this test HERE.

& it's quite accurate, I'd say.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Your view on yourself:

You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:

You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:

You prefer to get to know a person very well before deciding whether you will commit to the relationship.

The seriousness of your love:

Your have very sensible tactics when approaching the opposite sex. In many ways people find your straightforwardness attractive, so you will find yourself with plenty of dates.

Your views on education

Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.

The right job for you:

You have plenty of dream jobs but have little chance of doing any of them if you don't focus on something in particular. You need to choose something and go for it to be happy and achieve success.

How do you view success:

You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous.

What are you most afraid of:

You are concerned about your image and the way others see you. This means that you try very hard to be accepted by other people. It's time for you to believe in who you are, not what you wear.

Who is your true self:

You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

Thanks Bryan, for the cuppies yesterday!

From C-cup (HERE), presenting to you the long awaited cupcakes worth of S$205.00!

The decoration of the cuppies are really sweet however, the taste is just like your average muffins.
I was expecting something better though......
Prefer Cupcake Chic's!
Better taste albeit it pales in comparison for design wise.
More affordable as well!
We could have gotten 111 cupcakes from Cupcake Chic, with the amount we spent on C-cup's!

& Thanks B.QY, for the Mac Breakfast this morning!

Had Thai food with QY sometime last week & yeterday, we went Jap!

Happy,
Because tomorrow is Youth Day :)

Sad,
Because I've got tonnes of reports & lesson planing to do :(

Teaching is such an enjoyable career.
I love kids.
I love kids.
& I still love kids so much!

PS: My P2 students actually knew that the moon orbits around the Earth!
& they tells me Mr./Ms. Google (.com) is very smart one!
hahahaha.
What joy they bring to me!

Update again soon.
Then again, how soon is soon? :)

When We Risk It All

We can't blame others when love dwindles away
For we knew from the start it never promised to stay.

It's just one of those things where the stakes are high
And sometimes it's forever, sometimes it's goodbye.

When you love the right way, you will never lose
No matter what path life may force you to choose.

You may end up with tears or a broken heart
But you knew what you signed up for from the start.

You can only give what you've got to give
And if that's not enough, then you must continue to live.

Life will go on and broken hearts will heal
You must continue on your quest, for that's the deal.

Throw your heart into life and never stall
For the greatest risk is to risk nothing at all.

You see love is the only thing that we know
That can be divided and divided but continue to grow.

And life isn't long enough to lock away our heart
Just because life may have forced two people apart.

We will continue to love and continue to lose
We will continue to pick and continue to choose.

And then one day we will risk it all
Take the chains off our hearts and
dismantle the wall.

The last time we love will be the forever
And never again will our hearts be forced to sever.

We'll never have doubts that it'll go away
Because this time,it'll be here to stay.

But until then we must endure all the pain
For we only see sunshine if we can wait through the rain.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO ALL THE GREAT FATHERS OUT THERE!

Have you wished your old man "Happy Papa Day" & give him a big big hug to tell him a big "Thank You" & "I Love You" ?
You should, if you haven't.
If you have, good for you!

Sometimes, it's really good to keep this bit level of intimacy in the family.
After all, keeping a family together is not all about communicating, but as well as having this bit of intimacy with your folks & siblings, as well as making time out for them.

My daddy is one helluva funny guy.
He thought yesterday was Father's Day instead & so he was complaining to my mummy that both Bro & I had clean forgotten about it.
Not even a well-wishing, let alone a gift.
So he was really sulking [ Like =( =\  ] the entire day until he realized it was Sunday instead. LOL.

So anyway, my daddy is a very fussy guy.
Unlike my mummy, he is very into branded stuffs.
He wants a Mont Blanc pen, a Rolex, a Hush Puppy shoes, a LV briefcase, etc.
If I have the cash to spare, I will definitely get him these!
Thing is, I don't have them. LOL.

So anyway, we brought him to Hush Puppies, to get the shoes.
Brought him to Adidas & Nike to get some wearables.
Brought him to this Mont Blanc shop to get him a not-so-steep-priced pen.
But he was stopping us, saying it's enough it's enough, don't need already!

Walao, he very 矛盾can?!
First he complained that we didn't buy him anything.
Next he complained that we are spending too much on him.
My goodness.
My daddy is damn hilarious!
But I love him still. :)

So yes, bottom line is, make your daddy [& mummy] happy today, & every other day!

I'm : ecstatic

Mood swings are horrible.
They are unpredictable, incomprehensible & uncontrollable.
Everyone & everything seems to be able to incur my wrath so easily .

Sigh.

Just ain't got the mood for anything.
Perhaps the mood for work is getting to me these days.
18 more days to go.

Are you guys feeling the same as I am?

Induction day come 20th.
I can't wait for it to be over!

Sigh.

Bought 5 novels (& I'm already starting on my 2nd!)  from last week's KL trip, as well as many apparels for my practicum.
Seems like my folks are more anxious than I am.

Sigh.

I miss you baby.
I miss my besties.

xoxo.

Ngee Ann Polytechnic Graduation Day 2008
27th May 2008 , 1:00PM

Finally, we have all graduated from NP.
When I was flipping through the pages of our CHS Yearbook, my mind was flooded with good memories, as well as bad ones.
I laughed at the good ones, & I laughed at the bad ones too.
Good ones = really brought me so good memories which I can still vividly envision, as though it happened just yesterday.
Bad ones = can't believe I acted so childishly.

My journey with my classmates in NP was really an enriching one.
Especially our immersion in China.
& it's almost a year since we're back.

When I read through the thoughts & well-wishings of our beloved China professors (to us), I really felt very blessed.
I wanna make a trip back to ZUCC & visit them, to give them a big treat & a big hug, for being my lecturers not only in class, but in my life as well.

& I kinda miss Wu Jing..............

Enough said.
Pictures galore!

I'm : bouncy

My trip up to KL & Genting with my family members (aunt, uncle, godfather etc) was super fun!
Except for a good friend who kinda dampened my mood due to her irresponsible act......

So I was up in KL for a good 2 days.
Supposedly to be a shopping trip for my practicum attire & needs yet ironically, I bought like only a couple of accessories from Topshop, a few American candies from Cocoa Trees & a few books from the various book shops.
& that's it.
N O T H I N G caught my eyes.
Like, what the hell?

Hence, this trip was more like a food-trip!
We're always eating, non-stop.
